Welcome Jacquelyn Alford, District Director, Foothills District

We are pleased to announce that Jacquelyn Alford has been promoted to the position of District Director serving the Foothills District effective April 10, 2017. Jacque will be responsible for providing leadership in the areas of service to Foothills Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Crews. Her responsibilities include support for our youth recruiting efforts and fundraising including Friends of Scouting, the Trail’s End Popcorn Sale and the Camp Card sale. One of her primary roles is to lead the cultivation and recruitment of volunteers in the Foothills District. As District Director, Jacque will provide guidance and support to Justin Lundstrom, Foothills District Executive. Jacque will report directly to Jon Ingram, Field Director, who will provide leadership and support to ensure her success in her new role.

Jacque’s Scouting career began in August 2014 when she joined the Atlanta Area Council as District Executive serving the Hightower Trail District. Jacque has built a reputation for excellence in leadership and service to Scout units, as well as cultivating beneficial relationships with schools, charter partners and volunteers. She has a successful record in fundraising including Friends of Scouting, the Popcorn Sale and the Camp Card sale.

Jacque is a graduate of Kennesaw State University.
