Final Week to Volunteer - Peachtree Road Race, Wednesday July 4

Foothills Scouters --

Get yourself and your youth on the course to see world class professional athletes run down Peachtree (followed by 60,000 of your fellow Atlantans). Have fun and help grow an exciting new partnership between the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Atlanta Track Club.

Who: Boy Scout and Venturing Youth (ages 12-20) as well as Adult Leaders and Parents
What: Hand out water during the iconic Peachtree Road Race (PRR) on July 4.
When: 5:15 - 10:15 AM on July 4
Where: Mile 3 west water stop in front of Piedmont Hospital (on top of Cardiac Hill)
Why:  Earn service hours for rank advancement, have fun serving water to 60,000 runners, and get a free volunteer t-shirt, pin and a cool patch for your uniform!  Also, as scouts we promise to keep ourselves physically strong. Seeing the world class runners race by will be an inspiration!

Uniform: Wear the full Field Uniform (Class A, no sash).  We are representing BSA!!
