2020 Foothills District Cub Scout Day Camp

Foothills Day Camp is a wonderful way for Cub Scouts of all ages to participate in scouting fun over the summer. The boys will earn belt loop achievements and electives that will help them along their journey to achieving their next rank in Scouting. This is a wonderful way to lighten the load on Den Leaders and a great way to bolster your year round program. Volunteers come back from camp ready to help out in their units. The camp needs 1 adult volunteer (5 days) for each 4 boys that attend. Adults can volunteer for 5 days with extra incentives such as a discount, and the opportunity to bring girl siblings or “tots” (age 3 to 4). Adults can also volunteer as a “partial week” volunteer.
The boys will get to participate in a shooting sport (BB’s) as well as STEM activities and special assemblies and other activities that they enjoy such as crafts, games, and other activities. We’ll have further updates so check back here for more information as it is released.
To register: Advertise this to your unit. Appoint a Pack Coordinator to handle the registration process, forms, and volunteers for your unit. Your pack does not need to attend as an entire group (though encouraged to bring them), all scouts are welcome. However, please coordinate registration forms and payments through your unit.
