The intent is to provide parents with information and tools to help them understand their importance in becoming more involved with their Scouts.  This will result in Scouts staying with the program longer and having a better experience in Scouting.  Unit leaders should encourage parents to explore the ScoutParents website, www.scoutparents.org.
