What: Order of the Arrow Chapter Meeting / Opportunities

Location: Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 3125 Sewell Mill Rd., Marietta, GA.
Meet in the Christian Life Center (to the right of the church sanctuary) in the Youth Room (down the hall on the left, first floor)

Program:
Monthly Commissioners meetings are held at 7:30 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints located at 3147 Trickum Rd. on the left just off Sandy Plains Rd. (See map)
First of 3 sessions for the SALT course.
Monthly meeting of the Foothills District Committee. Operating committee meetings for Membership, Finance, Program, Advancement & Recognition, and Administration. All adult leaders are welcome to attend and become members of the district committee. Members at large are voting members. District Committee member at large is a registered position (no additional fee if you are already registered as an adult Scouter).
Meetings are held at Roswell Street Baptist Church, 7:30 pm, first Thursday of every month.

Targeted for Scout Leaders, Cub Leaders, Venturing Leaders or anyone interested in learning more about all things Scouting in our district. This informative meeting is held on the second Thursday of each month at Roswell Street Baptist Church. Scouts, Cubs, and Venturers open the meeting together, adjourn to separate meetings and breakouts, and reconviene for closing. More information and subject matter can be found in the Chicken Sheet.
When: Saturday, March 12, 2011 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Location: Troop 1011 Mount Bethel United Methodist Church 4385 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30068. Please park in the rear parking lot near the ball fields. Walk down the paved road. Only permitted and handicap vehicles may use the road.
Costs: $8.00
Snacks: Bring a snack with you and a drink. There is a soft drink vending machine on site
Uniform: Class A
Limits: To the first 50 Scouts and the Scout must hold the rank of First Class or higher.

AVIATION CAREER EXPLORING

Aviation Career Exploring is open to young men and women ages 14 (and completed the 8th grade) through 20 years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of Aviation.
Aviation Exploring is a hands-on program that exposes young people to flying. It offers aviation experiences, as a possible career or for the sheer pleasure of being around airplanes.
The most popular Aviation Exploring careers include:
Held on the third Thursday of every month at the Mt. Paran Church of God. By appointment only. Before a Board of Review can be held the Scout's Eagle application must be certified by the Atlanta Area Council. To reserve a spot, email eagleboards [at] foothillsbsa [dot] org.
Life to Eagle workshops are conducted, by request, on the same evening as boards of review. Email eagleboards [at] foothillsbsa [dot] org for details.
