The Foothills District is the largest of 19 districts of the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  Foothills District comprises the eastern part of Cobb County, including the City of Marietta.  Foothills District, along with Covered Bridge District, Mountain Lake District and Cherokee-Pickens District, is part of the Atlanta Area Council's Service Area 3.
